Genavieve's Sixth-Grade Celebration

It's off to middle school for G! Pleasant Hill had a celebration ceremony for the sixth-graders who ended their elementary careers and are headed off to Horning Middle School in the fall. Where did the time go?!? It's so hard to believe G is already going to be in Middle School! We are so proud of the lovely young lady she has become - smart, creative, and kind. She'll do great at Horning!

Olivia's Last Day of School

Since I was home on maternity leave, Hudson and I got to join Olivia for the annual Hillcrest picnic on the last day of school. Beautiful weather and fun company! Here's Olivia and Ashley - the dynamic duo - at the picnic and with Mr. Hart.

G's Field Trip to Medieval Times

On June 4, Genavieve's sixth-grade class took a field trip to Medieval Times in Illinois. Mike was lucky enough to get to go along. Both of them really enjoyed the food, show, and especially the torture museum! Yikes! Here she is enjoying the events with one of her pals, Gabrielle.

Olivia turns NINE!!

Miss Olivia turned 9 in June! It blows my mind she's already this old...I feel like just yesterday I met that curly little bundle-of-chatter as a two-year-old and now she's only one more year away from double digits! To celebrate, she chose to have two dear friends - Ashley and Hannah - over for swimming, pottery, a fashion show and cupcake decorating. Happy Birthday Olivia!! We love you!!!

What can Hudson do?

- Rolls both ways (but loves rolling onto his stomach best)

- Grabs his feet and rolls around

- Sits up with help

- Reaches for toys

- Laughs (he's a little stingy with this one!)

Mike and Hudson are already such a pair!

One of our first summer activities was a soccer-pool party at Kristie and Paul's for Father's Day. The kids, Mike, and Paul had a soccer game followed by a crazy game of b-ball in the pool.

It was so hot and sunny, we decided it was a great time for Hudson to try the pool. Auntie Kristine slathered him in sunscreen. At first, he hated it! But after a few minutes he found it tolerable.

Ok, I'm the world's worst blogger; however, I do envy the beautiful blogs other mommy's have created to document their family's lives. So, I'm making an attempt to jump on the bandwagon again so Hudson and the girls can have some evidence of their childhoods! ;) I decided to cut my losses and start with the present instead of backtracking to Hudson's birth. Presently, our little guy is 16 weeks old!!! Below are some pictures of him with his lovely sisters at his three-month mark. I also love this shot of him spending some quality time with Sprinkles, his favorite giraffe.
