First Bike Ride

One late July afternoon, Mike and I headed out for a bike ride with our little man. It was so surreal using the bike cart for Hudson when it seems just yesterday we had the girls in it! We rode to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a visit. Hudson loved it! He fell asleep on the way home.

Ready for Solids!!

At his 4-month check-up, Dr. Jeruc gave the go-ahead to start Hudson on solids. So, we decided to give rice cereal a go! At first he wasn't too sure, but then he decided he kind of liked it!

Visit at Nana's

In July, Auntie Carol and Grandma Kempf joined us for lunch at Nana's so they could see Hudson. He was quite the charmer - slept politely through lunch and then hammed it up for pictures!

Graduation Parties

We attended several of graduation parties this summer. Congrats to Cory, Holly, and Ashton! (Oh...to be young and off to college again!!!) In these pictures, we're at Uncle Dean and Aunt Tracy's house for Ashton's party. It was a beautiful day to be on the lake. The kids and Mike enjoyed playing on the water. Little Logan was so fun to watch, too!

4 Months Old!

On July 17, Hudson turned 4 months old! He was a trooper at his check-up (Dr. Jeruc commented on how busy he is...can't imagine where he gets that from :) ) - even through the icky shots. He weighed 15 lbs. 6 oz. (60th %), and was 26 3/4" long (95th %).

Mini-Me

So many people comment on what a "little Mike" Hudson is, so I had to laugh when I saw them napping together in the same position!

Three Year Anniversary

On July 14, Mike and I had our anniversary...so hard to believe it's already been three years! To celebrate, we went out to eat at one of our favorite restaurants - Sazzy B's - while Hudson stayed with Nana and Papa. It was our first night out without him! He was a very good boy for Nana, and after one martini, Mommy was even able to relax and enjoy the night! ;)

Then, the next morning, Hudson got a bath in Nana's prep sink!

Nana and Papa have a lot of birds outside their window...Mike got this cool picture of a humming bird.
